“After all, he was aware that Kyson poisoned you. But that would mean that he also helped Eleanor escape.”
Whatever the case, it couldn’t have been just one person. By the look of things, it was a group of people who shared a common enemy in Lucinda.
So far, the ones off the list were Levi, Nikolas, and Kyson. But there were clearly more.
Nathan’s brow furrowed. The temperature in the room dropped.
Regardless of whether Mekhi was involved or not, Nathan was certain that someone in the Simmons family, someone of relatively great influence, was plotting against Lucinda.
“Continue your investigation. This is not Forden, the rules in Stastle are much stricter. There aren’t many people in Cadiered who would dare to go against me. Among them are Mekhi, Graham and those with military backgrounds. Use the process of elimination and narrow our list of suspects down.”
“Yes, I’ll get on it right away.”
Sonny turned around to leave, but Nathan stopped him.
“Send more men to tail Lucinda in secret. Make sure she is safe every time she steps outside. If she is harmed in any way, all of you will suffer punishment!”
“Understood. Don’t worry. We know that her safety always comes first.”
“Good. You may go.”
Sonny wasted no time carrying out Nathan’s orders.
Left alone, Nathan brooded over the matter of Melody’s disappearance.

As soon as Lucinda read the script, she instantly took a liking to it. If she were being honest, she would have said that the plot was eerily familiar. She made up her mind on the spot and offered to invest in the show. She later ended up becoming the project’s biggest investor.
Lucinda chose Noelle to play the female lead. Noelle had recently been given the Best Actress award, and Lucinda had faith in her skills.
Lucinda killed the engine and got out of the car. Noelle was instantly there to greet her, all decked out in her costume.
Ever since she found out that Lucinda was pregnant, Noelle had been especially careful and attentive toward her friend.
They still had some time, so Noelle took Lucinda to the lounge, and the two women began chatting.
